LAMA

week 4

waa.. so when week 3 started, I got some concentration problems.. because of a lot of things.... not even relevant things! anyway, week 4 is slightly better.. I had some concentration problem moments but I'm getting a better hold of it.. (I think and I hope so!)

(outside LAMA) gigs are coming up... starting this weekend, there's gonna be 4 weeks straight of gigging.. some paid! so I'm happy about that :) that would be my first ever paid gig! yey! what a blessing :)

this Saturday is Halloween. Marco and I are gonna do the same as last year: buy our costumes at the day/night of Halloween! so the costumes are marked as 50-75% off.. they're too expensive! I hope I could get the costume that I like.. (that would be one of my HWs for tomorrow: check out shops that has the costume that I like so I just go there @ the day)

rehearsal rehearsal rehearsals.. are coming up..

but now I wanna do is practice practice practice ..personal practice. because I wanna be on top of everything! I will make time :) right now the options for this part is: Tuesday-Friday and Sunday morning & early afternoon.. I need to fix my practice schedule so I feel organized!

that's all for today! off to dreamland for a few hours.. then off to LAMA again for another learning day.. yey!

feelings

I feel weird these days.. I think I'm back to "thinking stage." Argh!

That's why I shouldn't just stay at home.. but the thing is I don't have money to go out either.. and gas money is a pain too.. oh how economic crisis hits everybody.. ME.

I feel sad.. and sometimes bored - not always though..

The only diversion that I'm thinking right now is swimming but we don't have a pool in my house.. and the people who I know who have pools are busy :/ so they can't let me in..

I need to get out of this misery.

well.. now it's 09-10-09

it's been a long time since I "blogged" something.. weeeeee.. I want to write something..

So spring and summer's been a bit busy.. just a bit.. when there's classes.. I don't like it when I'm at home.. for 3 weeks.. of no school..... it gets boring..

anyway.. after that grudging 3 weeks.. things went uphill a little bit.

summer classes started.
ended.

fall semester @ citrus already started.. but I'm not going there anymore because I'm transferring to Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA) yey!

For the month of September.. I have rehearsals for the upcoming musical on Oct 2-3, 2009.. BARE: A Rock Musical

The music's interesting and cool.. challenging too.. sometimes it gets me crazy so I needed some breaks.. and that's because I need to learn 33 songs by this weekend.. I can finish it in the next 3 days.. there's like 20 more songs to go so not that bad actually!

I also have some performances for Citrus College "Kenshu" an open-house thing for Japanese students..


What I need right now, aside from those nice gigs, is some sort of job.. a church gig if possible! That would be so nice.. for I am bankrupt right now.. I don't even know how I'm surviving.. It gets me crazy thinking about having no money.. it's kinda sad when I wanted to buy something - even small things - but I can't :(

My birthday's coming up next month.. so this is my final days of being a "teen" that's kinda sad and kinda nice..

But overall, all I need in my life is happiness - friends, loved ones, job satisfaction..! That's all that matters anyway! :)

spring break '09

I very much enjoyed the spring break (4/10/09-4/19/09)

I went to old town San Diego & San Diego Zoo. It was fun! The animals were very bored though :(

I also attended a friend's wedding; although, I missed the ceremony because I was saying my goodbyes to a friend who's going back to the Philippines.

I hope I'll have more joyful spring break.. (maybe even a wild one? even for one time? hahaha! :D )

oh yea!

I'm having a busy spring semester - like many people are - :)


The only disadvantage is just my energy goes so low every now and then.. some mornings.. I'm just dragging to get up :(

So far, everything is going well.. We have salsa band concert on thursday! yey! so we're working on that. right now.. I'll just rest and maybe sleep early :)
